What we all know is essentially composed of silica, the substance that is made of sand. By adding particular substances it is possible to produce colored glasses and particularly resistant glass.

Precisely for this continuing ability to regenerate, the glass is the best witness of the Copernican revolution that, in the common perception is recognizing at the same rejection the resource value - from an environmental and economic point of view - and not waste to be disposed of.
